"God knows your value; He sees your potential. You may not understand everything you are going through right now. But hold your head up high, knowing that God is in control and he has a great plan and purpose for your life. He will never give up on you, so don’t give up on yourself." Joel Osteen

My husband, Chris, is the best thing that's ever happened to me. We've been married for three years and he still sweeps me off my feet. He's caring, smart and he loves to cook for me. He's a Godly person who loves me unconditionally and supports me without question. Our marriage is our greatest treasure however our inability to expand our family has become our biggest struggle. I want to make my husband a daddy and fulfill my deepest desire to become a mom. I truly believe God has already planned for that to happen. With a huge hole in our hearts, we'll turn to IVF late this year/early next year to help us achieve our dream. Everyone that knows Chris knows that what he does for our country is a complete sacrifice and incredibly honorable. He has just celebrated his 11year anniversary with U.S. Air Force, and I am proud to stand by his side and serve along with him. Together, Chris and I feel the fresh air of hope and peace in our lives and by creating our blog. This blog also offers possibilities for our friends and family to follow along with us on our journey to parenthood. It also offers knowledge and awareness to the community and an opportunity to 'meet up' with other families in our same situation. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and hopefully you'll feel inclined to share our story with others. We believe God has already started designing our child(ren). He already knows their name. We are grateful for all your prayers and thoughts of encouragement. We could not do this without you. Thank you.

More of MacGyver (Halloween style)

Paisy welcoming a new day. She often sits on the castle perch and watches the sun come up, and then watches all of the kids walk to school.

"Mom, why am I in this bucket again?"

"What's this pumpkin in the picture for?"

"Mom, I don't want to be in the bucket."

"I really got to get myself out of this bucket."

"OK I'm outta here."

"Mom I'm out. What are you gonna do about it?"

"OK. Do you wanna see what I can do? I'll do a trick for you."

"Good, I'm done with that trick."

"I just adore paparazzi. More! More!"

I can't believe MacGyver is 7.5 months old. Wow! Where does time go. He used to be just a small little pipsqueek and now... Now he weighs about 9lbs and is about 30inches long from head to tail. His personality is very different from Sylvesters and Paisys. He's his own pussycat. I often say for him, "I'm my own pussycat, and I'll do what I wanna do." Said with heavy attitude and spunk. He's very energetic and plays all of the time. I don't even think some days that he gets enough sleep. He's loving when he wants to be. He has his little routines and cat schedules. He scratches on the cardboard 99% of the time with little 'snackies' rewards of course. He loves to watch the fish in the fishtank. Chris occasionally calls him 'Buddy', 'Mcdoogle', or 'Mcdoodle'. I usally call him 'Tator Tot' or 'Red Fox'. He is really long and weighs a lot for being 7.5 months. He's definitely taking after his daddy (Thomas). Paisy and MacGyver play together and they both love it. Their favorite game is chase through the house and up and down the stairs. He gives her kitty kisses on the head by licking her, and she either likes it or just tolerates it. But I think it's precious. He absolutely worships Paisy. He follows her around. Wherever she is, he is. Just like two peas in a pod. He loves going out on his 'playground' but whenever our neighbors come or go, in uniform, he sprints for the pony fence and jumps it. I wonder if he thinks it's Chris. He loves to lay in the sunshine and sprawls right out to enjoy the rays. He eats continuously. Chris thinks he'll go a lot bigger. Sylvester was about 12lbs full grown, and so we're hoping for MacGyver to take the record. Paisy is only 10lbs. She's petite. He knows his name and comes when called (only if it's convenient for him) with the shake of my finger. He's very social and likes to hang around with us. We get lots of compliments on his coloring. He is not a purebred marble just a regular pussycat with two really nice looking parents. He has the softest coat I have ever felt. I don't know if baths often or his coat is just naturally minky, but he feels just like cashmere.

And for anyone wondering I did try Paisy in the bucket, and she just wasn't having it. I did try.
